Individual Therapy
It takes a lot of courage to look for a therapist. It’s daunting, and it takes a leap of faith. I am glad you have found your way to my website, and I want to give you an idea of what our time together may look like.
If you have found your way to this page, you are most likely here because, despite your best efforts to rise above the challenges in your life, you find yourself continuing to struggle. It’s disheartening, and after trying and trying you might come to believe you are failing – trapped not only by your struggles, but by unsuccessful efforts to do and feel better.
My job is to help you move toward a sense of completion on the issues and challenges you are wanting to work through but are getting stuck with.
I provide EMDR with an emphasis on how the issues and challenges you are exploring are showing up through sensations in your nervous system. By sustaining awareness it is possible to uncover, address, and resolve painful thoughts, feelings, beliefs, physical sensations, and patterns of behavior that are standing between you and a more powerful, loving, and compassionate self.
When self-regulating between sessions is a challenge, we may incorporate LifeForce Yoga tools to assist in building tools to manage and regulate mood.
