It takes a lot of courage to look for a therapist. It’s daunting, and it takes a leap of faith. I am glad you have found your way to my website, and I want to give you an idea of what our time together may look like.
If you have found your way to this page, you are most likely here because, despite your best efforts to rise above the challenges in your life, you find yourself continuing to struggle. It’s disheartening, and after trying and trying you might come to believe you are failing – trapped not only by your struggles, but by unsuccessful efforts to do and feel better.
My job is to help you uncover and address the painful thoughts, feelings, beliefs, physical sensations, and patterns of behavior that are standing between you and your most powerful, loving, and compassionate self. Together we will explore the barriers that are holding you back from living your fullest life. In addition to gaining insight into and letting go of negative patterns that keep you stuck, we may choose to incorporate concrete strategies and tools to address challenges in your life in a more helpful way.
There are different modalities we may use during our time together; you can learn more about some that I utilize below. Regardless of the methods we choose, my goal is to help you move toward a life that not just works for you, but makes your heart sing.
